On May 30, the creator of SHIB abruptly deleted all of his posts, including the first cryptocurrency-themed post titled “All Hail the Shiba.”
While Ryoshi’s identity has remained unknown, he is a fairly prominent member of the SHIB community, with a large following on Twitter.
His bio on the social network, which previously read: “Founder of SHIB and LEASH. We do it for the people,” and any crypto-related posts and images have been removed.

Ryoshi’s medium account has been completely deleted, and trying to access any posts he writes will get a 404 error.

Ryoshi’s unexpected move surprised many in the cryptocurrency community, but some, like ShibaSwap creator Shytoshi Kusama, noted that the community will continue to grow, with the goal of making Ryoshi’s vision a reality.
“Ryoshi was and is one of the most successful anonymous founders of any project. While I don’t know his identity, his legacy lives on in the Shib token and ecosystem and all of our envisioned decentralized world project,”Shytoshi Kusama said in a post.
“We built from scratch, never paid exchange fees for listing, and revolutionized the meme token by growing exponentially,” he said.
Some community members believe that Ryoshi’s sudden departure from Shiba Inu is inevitable.
“I’m not important, one day I’ll leave without warning. Take SHIBA, take the cloud,”Ryoshi wrote in Shiba Inu’s first post.
