The latest information from ShibBurn, the Shiba Inu burn data service, shows that the burn rate of SHIB tokens has increased by nearly 6,700% in the past 24 hours. Additionally, in the past 24 hours alone, 745 million SHIB have been permanently destroyed, with a total value of over $16,300 at press time.

The news comes after Shiba Inu last week began testing a new burning portal that helps users of the coin burn SHIB tokens, which was announced in late February.

At the end of January, Bigger Entertainment CEO Steven Cooper said that Shiba Inu could hit $0.01 due to the company’s regular SHIB burning events. Over 410.3 billion SHIB have been burned so far, with a total value of nearly $9 billion at press time.
